Wow all that looks really good. I had a friend who made Black-Eyed Pea dip. It went well with Fritos Scoops. Never had Hoppin John, but looks interesting.

Thanks, hoppin john is a melange of blackeye peas, onions, tomatoes, and rice (I cook the rice separately) which is supposed to be consumed at New Year's so I hear. I live in northern Virginia but I get this info from my cousins who live in Alabama.

I moved the ads down to the bottom so that if you only view my first post they should not be too obnoxious!
